DTC 27, LCD Blanking Control CKT Open Or Shorted To Ground: Notes

CCM has ability to simultaneously turn off all segments of the LCD panel by use of a single signal supplied through LCD blanking control circuit.

DTC 27 will set when CCM requests high voltage in LCD blanking control circuit and after 600 milliseconds, CCM senses high voltage in LCD blanking control circuit.

When DTC 27 is set, SYS will flash. DTC 27 will clear when CCM no longer senses low voltage in LCD blanking control circuit when high voltage is requested, or CCM no longer requests high voltage in LCD blanking control circuit.
