Removal & Installation: Notes
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory
systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may
exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle.

INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

OVERHAUL . Before servicing
steering column, place shift
lever in Park, turn lock cylinder to OFF-LOCK position, and
remove key.
