Compressor and/or Bracket

Compressor Mounting:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Recover refrigerant. Refer to "Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Recharging Procedures".
2. Engine mount strut bracket left-side.
3. Cooling fan left side.
4. Drive belt.
5. Electrical connector from compressor.
6. Compressor hose assembly at compressor.
7. One lower mounting bolt.
8. Two upper mounting bolts.
9. Compressor.

Install or Connect

1. Compressor.
2. Two upper mounting bolts.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb. ft.).

3. One lower mounting bolt.

Tighten
^ Bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb. ft.).

4. Compressor hose assembly to compressor using new sealing washers.

Tighten
^ Nut to 33 N.m (24 lb. ft.).

5. Electrical connector to compressor.
6. Drive belt.
7. Cooling fan left side.
8. Engine mount strut bracket left-side.
9. Evacuate, charge and leak check system. Refer to "Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Charging Procedures".
