Circuit Description

Injection pump fuel supply line has a solenoid controlled shutoff located in injection pump. When solenoid is energized, valve is open and fuel is supplied to injection pump. PCM energizes solenoid by providing a ground path.

DTC will set when the following conditions are present:

• PCM requested engine shutoff solenoid on.
• Control circuit voltage at PCM is less than 8 volts.
• Conditions are met for 2 seconds.

Or

• PCM requested engine shutoff solenoid off.
• Control circuit voltage at PCM is greater than 8 volts.
• Conditions are met for 2 seconds.
