Power Sliding Door REINITIALIZATION

CAUTION: If radio is equipped with anti-theft protection, radio must be unlocked before performing reinitialization procedure.
NOTE: Before performing PSD reinitialization, check for DTCs. See ENTERING DIAGNOSTIC MODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Reinitialization procedure is necessary if battery has been disconnected, PSD has malfunctioned, self-diagnostic has been entered and exited, or if IGN 1, PWR SEAT/PSD, RADIO or B/U LAMP fuse has blown or been removed.
  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Put PSD on/off switch (on overhead console) in OFF position. Manually open and close PSD. Ensure PSD is latched.
  2. Remove RADIO fuse (10-amp) from underhood electrical center for 30 seconds. Install RADIO fuse. Wait 10 seconds. Set PSD on/off switch to ON position.
  3. Open PSD completely using either PSD open/close switch. Wait 5 seconds and close PSD completely using either PSD open/close switch
  4. Wait 5 seconds and repeat step 3)  . Check PSD for proper operation.
