Powertrain Control Module: Removal

Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate PCM in right side of engine compartment. See Fig 1. Move the PCM retention bar and retainer away from the PCM. Remove the PCM from the PCM mounting bracket. Disconnect harness connectors from PCM. Remove PCM from vehicle.
