Powertrain Control Module: Prizm

Power for PCM is supplied from EFI fuse (15-amp) through EFI relay located in relay/fuse box. PCM memory power is supplied from EFI fuse (15-amp). PCM distributes power and controls ground of various sensors, switches and solenoids for engine control. See Figure-Figure .

NOTE: Components are grouped into 2 categories. First category is INPUT DEVICES, which are components that control or produce voltage signals monitored by PCM. Second category is OUTPUT SIGNALS, which are components controlled by PCM.
