Stator Test

  1. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between stator leads. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1 . If resistance is more than 5 ohms for any measurement, replace stator.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between each stator lead and stator core. Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1 . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace stator.
