Circuit Description

The Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor measures amount of air which passes through it in a given amount of time. PCM uses this information to control fuel delivery. When volume of air increases, current flow from MAF sensor also increases. When volume of air decreases, current flow from MAF sensor also decreases. MAF sensor is located in left front of engine compartment, between air intake tube and air cleaner. If DTC is set, PCM will enter fail-safe mode and determines injector drive time and IAC duty cycle according to TP sensor and engine speed.
