Entering Input Diagnostic Modes

After displaying and reading all BCM DTCs stored in memory, BCM will enter input/output diagnostic mode. Input diagnostic mode will identify BCM is receiving input information from switches or systems. BCM may flash fasten seat belts warning indicator once and/or chime tone will sound once, when any of following inputs are activated:

• Courtesy Lighting Switches
• Door Lock Cylinder Switches
• Driver Door Ajar Switch
• Glove Box Switch
• Hazard Switch
• Headlight Switch
• Keyless Entry Request For Door Lock/Unlock (If Equipped)
• Keyless Entry Request For Alarm (If Equipped)
• Liftgate Ajar Switch
• Passenger Door Ajar Switch
• Power Door Lock Switches
• Power Sliding Side Door Ajar Switch(es)
• Shock Sensor
