Steering Column Filler Panel: Installation

  1. Install the rear compartment release switch. Connect the electrical connector to the rear compartment release switch. Align the steering column filler panel to the instrument panel lower trim panel.
  2. Install the panel retainers to the instrument panel lower trim panel. Install the bolts to the steering column filler panel. See Figure . Tighten the bolts to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m). Install the insulator tabs to the lower instrument panel trim pad retainers. Install the access cover to the left instrument panel fuse block.
