Steering Column Filler Panel: Removal

  1. Remove the access cover from the left instrument panel fuse block. Release the left instrument panel insulator tabs from the lower instrument panel trim pad retainers for access. Remove the bolts from the steering column filler panel. See Fig 1 .
  2. Release the steering column filler panel retainers from the instrument panel lower trim panel. Carefully lower the panel away from the instrument panel lower trim panel. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment release switch. Remove the rear compartment release switch. Remove the steering column filler panel.
