Installation Procedure

  1. Install the automatic level control sensor to the bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

  2. Install the height sensor bolts/screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the height sensor bolts/screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the automatic level control sensor with the bracket (2) to the vehicle.
  4. Install the height sensor bracket bolts/screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the height sensor bracket bolts/screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the automatic level control sensor link to the tie rod ball stud. Refer to Automatic Level Control Sensor Link Replacement .

  6. Install the automatic level control sensor connector to the underbody rail.
  7. Install the automatic level control sensor connector.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Install the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
