Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the parking brake assembly mounting bolts only and lay the parking brake assembly aside. Refer to PARKING BRAKE PEDAL in Parking Brake.

  2. Remove the lower dash panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - COWL SIDE in Interior Trim.

  3. Remove the electrical connectors from the control module.
  4. Remove the mounting screws for the control module.

  5. Remove the control module from the mounting bracket.
