Conditions For Running Test (Cold Start)

Ensure vehicle meets the following conditions before performing procedure:
- Barometric pressure is greater than 72 kPa.
- The ECT sensor parameter is less than 84°F (29°C).
- The IAT sensor parameter is less than 84°F (29°C).
- The difference between IAT and ECT is 13°F (7°C) or less.
- Battery voltage is 9-16 volts.
- Fuel level is 1/4-3/4.
Test will initiate only after a cold start. A cold start is considered when engine coolant temperature is less than 35°F (2°C).
