Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am and 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the BCM connectors to the BCM.
  2. Install the BCM (2) to the bracket.
  3. Program the BCM. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) PROGRAMMING/RPO CONFIGURATION  .
  4. Install the right insulator panels. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT (OUTBOARD) or CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT (INBOARD) in Instrument panel, Gages, and Console
