Installation Procedure

in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the remote keyless entry module to the carrier.
- Install the remote keyless entry module screws to the bracket (3).
Tighten: Tighten the remote keyless entry module screws to the bracket (3) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
- Connect the remote keyless entry antenna (2) to the receiver (5).
- Connect the remote keyless entry electrical connector (4) to the receiver (5).
- Install the left knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Reprogram the transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
- Verify that the system operates properly.
