Installation Procedure

  1. Install the traction control switch into front floor console trim plate by pressing into place until fully seated and retaining clips are fully engaged.
  2. Connect the traction control switch wiring harness connector to the traction control switch.

  4. Align the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console and carefully press the retaining clips into the correct mounting holes in the front floor console.
  5. Close the front floor console cupholder.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the two screws that retain the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console.

    Tighten:  Tighten the two retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Close the front floor center console armrest.
  9. Verify the repair. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
