Electronic Throttle Control Module: Service and Repair

THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL (TAC) MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Reposition bulk wiring harness connectors aside.
2. Disconnect the throttle actuator control (TAC) module electrical connectors from the TAC module.
3. Remove nuts retaining TAC module and remove module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install TAC module and retaining nuts

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Connect TAC module electrical connectors.
3. Position bulk wiring harness connectors back into place.
