Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 GMC Sierra and 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the cruise control module.
  2. Connect the cruise control cable to the cruise control module. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement (4.3L Engine) .
  3. Fig 1: Locating Cruise Control Module Nuts (4.3L)

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the cruise control module nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Connect the cruise control module electrical connector.

  8. Install the upper fender brace.
  9. Install the upper fender brace bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
