Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the lower control into the frame using new bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 90 N.m (66 lb ft) plus an additional 75 to 90 degrees.

  2. Fig 2: Disconnecting Lower Control Arms

  3. Install a new ball stud to steering knuckle pinch bolt and nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt and nut to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  4. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Inspect the vehicle for alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment in Wheel Alignment.
