Memory Positioning Module: Service and Repair

MEMORY SEAT CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.




2. Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors (2) from the memory seat control module (1).




3. Remove the screw (1) that secures the memory seat control module to the seat.
4. Remove the memory seat control module from the seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the memory seat control module in the mounting bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the screw (1) securing the memory module to the seat.

Tighten the memory seat control module screw to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).




3. Connect the 4 electrical connectors (2) to the memory seat control module (1).
4. Install the seat in the vehicle.
