Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.

  3. Remove the wiper drive system module. Refer to Wiper Drive System Module Replacement .

  4. Using J 39232  , disconnect the wiper transmission links from the wiper motor crank arm. See Special Tools .

  5. Remove the 2 wiper motor bolts.
  6. Remove the spacer (1) from the wiper drive system module (2)
  7. Remove the wiper motor (3) from the wiper drive system module (2).
  8. Remove the wiper motor module support bracket (4) from the wiper motor (3). Refer to Wiper Motor Module Support Bracket Replacement .
