Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PRO .
  2. Remove the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT .
  3. Push the release tab on the bottom of the bracket to release the body control module.
  4. Slide the body control module from the bracket.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
