Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: After replacing the TCM, refer to Transmission Control Module Programming and Setup to ensure the module has the latest calibrations.

  1. Connect the negative battery cable.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the TCM and retaining bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the TCM retaining bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in)  .

  3. Connect the TCM electrical connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
