Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the MAP sensor connector to the MAP sensor.
  2. Install the MAP sensor into the intake manifold.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  3. Install the MAP sensor retaining bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the MAP sensor retaining bolt to 8 N.m (71 lb in)  .

  4. Connect the fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
