Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) .
  2. Slide the electrical connector heat shield up the wiring harness.
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (8) from the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor (9).

  5. Remove the ECT sensor.
