Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2) , Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2) .
  3. Remove the park brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
  4. Remove the park brake actuator. Refer to Parking Brake Actuator Replacement .
  5. Remove the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .
