Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

If any of the following components are replaced, a Crankshaft Position Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .

• Engine replacement
• Any engine repair that disturbs the crankshaft position sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel.
• Crankshaft position sensor

• If the throttle body is replaced or a throttle body cleaning procedure is completed, the Throttle/Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn .

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the proceeding procedures.
