Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Alternator Bracket To Engine Block Mounting Bolts

Install the alternator bracket (3) to the engine block.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the alternator bracket to engine block mounting bolts (1, 2). Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown. Tighten the bolt (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft)and the bolts (2) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
Install the alternator. Refer to Generator Replacement .
