Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the alternator. Refer to Generator Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Identifying Alternator Bracket To Engine Block Mounting Bolts

  3. Remove the alternator bracket to engine block mounting bolt (1).
  4. Remove the alternator bracket (2) from the vehicle.
