Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Upper Air Cleaner Body & Air Intake Duct To MAF/IAT Sensor Retaining Clamps

NOTE:

Make sure that the arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor is pointing to the front, radiator, indicate the proper air flow direction. The arrow must point toward the engine.

Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the upper air cleaner body.
Install the air intake duct to the MAF/IAT sensor.
Position the retaining clamps (1 and 2) to the MAF/IAT sensor.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten the MAF/IAT retaining clamps (1 and 2) to 2 Y (18 lb in).

Connect the MAF/IAT wiring harness connector (2) to the MAF/IAT sensor.
If re-programming is required, refer to Control Module References .
