Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement . Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .
1	Communication Interface Module Battery Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Reprogramming of the Module may be necessary after losing battery power. For programming and set up procedures, refer to Control Module References .
