Installation Procedure
- Connect the battery positive cable to the battery post and tighten the clamp nut (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the battery positive cable connector (1) to the body harness connector.
- Connect the body harness terminal (2) to the battery positive cable and tighten the nut (1) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Secure the battery positive cable retainers (1) to the rear passenger compartment area.
- Secure the battery positive cable (1) to the front driver area.
- Install the retaining nut (1) to the battery positive cable extension stud (3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Ensure that the battery positive cable is secured to the body harness retainer tabs (4)and that the battery harness is correctly routed in its original location.
- Install the rear floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan) .
- Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
- Install the left front floor panel carpet. Refer to Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (LHD) .
- Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement .
- Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
- Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
- Install the cargo area centre carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan) .
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
