Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the APP sensor (3) to the vehicle and tighten the bracket screws (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  2. Connect the APP sensor electrical connector (1).
  3. Operate the accelerator pedal and observe the APP angles using a scan tool. The accelerator pedal should operate freely, without binding between closed throttle and wide open throttle.
  4. Install the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
