Installation Procedure

  1. Install the control module (1) to the retaining bracket on the tie bar.
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Steering Column Electronic Lock Harness

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the lock module (1).
  3. Install the I/P Assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  5. Program the lock control module. Refer to Control Module References .
