- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- It is necessary to rebuild the fuel injectors. Refer to Fuel Injector Replacement .
