Removal Procedure

  1. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
  2. Remove the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LS3, LS7) , Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LS9) .

  3. Disconnect the power steering pressure hose (2) from the power steering pump (1).
  4. Disconnect the power steering pressure hose (2) from the steering gear.
  5. Remove the power steering pressure hose (2) from the vehicle.
