Installation Procedure

- Install the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1) through the bracket and to the brake pedal position sensor (2)..
- Tighten the brake pedal position sensor bolt to 3 (27 lb in)
- Install the brake pedal position sensor and bracket assembly to the brake and accelerator pedal assembly.
- Install the brake pedal position sensor bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 3 (27 lb in).
- Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
- Install the intermediate steering shaft (1). Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
- Install the instrument panel lower reinforcement bracket. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Reinforcement Bracket Replacement .
- Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
NOTE:
Align the brake pedal position sensor pin to the brake pedal bracket.
