Symptoms - Object Detection: Notes

NOTE:

The following steps must be completed before using the symptom tables:

  1. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle before using the Symptom Tables in order to verify that all of the following are true:
    • There are no DTCs set.
      • NOTE:

      The rear vision camera does not communicate on the serial data bus.

    • The control modules can communicate via the serial data link.
  2. Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Object Detection Description and Operation (with Rear Vision Camera - UVC) , Object Detection Description and Operation (with Front and Rear Park Assist - UD5) , Object Detection Description and Operation (with Rear Park Assist - UD7) , Object Detection Description and Operation (Lane Departure Warning - UFL)  or Object Detection Description and Operation (Forward Collision Alert - UEU) .
