Preliminary Procedure
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)

- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Procedure
- Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
- Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the thermostat housing.
- Install a NEW seal if not replacing the sensor.
