Side Object Sensing Alert Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Only remove the rear wheelhouse liner fasteners that attach the liner to the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
1	Side Object Sensor Module Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Depress the retainer tab (arrow) and slide the module out of the retaining bracket. For programming and set up, refer to Side Object Sensor Programming and Setup

Side Object Sensor Module

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Depress the retainer tab (arrow) and slide the module out of the retaining bracket.
For programming and set up, refer to Side Object Sensor Programming and Setup

Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement . Place the bumper fascia face down on a clean protected surface.
1	Side Object Sensing Alert Module Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 (22 lb in)
2	Side Object Sensing Alert Module Procedure Disconnect the side object sensing alert module electrical connector.
