Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Fig 1: Battery Current Sensor

  3. Disconnect the connector (1) to the battery current sensor (2) and remove the battery current sensor from the battery tray.

  5. Remove the battery negative ground cable fastener (1) and the battery negative cable (2), from the frame rail.

    NOTE:

    Note the orientation of the battery current sensor when removing.

  7. Remove the battery current sensor (2) from the battery negative cable (1).
