Circuit/System Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Chevrolet Trax and 2016 Buick Encore. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Lateral Acceleration sensor, the Longinitudinal Acceleration Sensor and the Yaw Rate Sensors are combined into one sensor called the Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor, which is internal to the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module. The Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor communicates with the Electronic Brake Control Module via serial data. The module activates the stability control function depending on Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor input.
