Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuse block (1) to the battery.

  2. Tighten the battery positive fuse block cable nut (1) Tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Confirm that the 2 starter fuse nuts (1) are correctly torqued to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

    IMPORTANT: This step is crucial to prevent damage to the fuse block or battery.
  4. Install the 3 body harness terminal nuts (1). Tighten 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).

  5. Install the body front wiring harness fuse block nut (1). Tighten 17 N.m (12 lb ft).

  6. Install the APM positive cable (2) and APM positive cable nut (1) and Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  7. Install the fuse block cover.
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  9. Install the rear compartment floor stowage trim compartment. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Trim Compartment Replacement
  10. Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling
