Preliminary Procedures Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement . Remove the secondary air injection pipe. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pipe Replacement . Disconnect the secondary air injection harness connector.
1	Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Fasteners (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Procedure Install NEW gasket.

Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Fasteners (Qty: 3)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)

Install NEW gasket.
