- Remove Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Replacement
- Remove Radio Speaker Amplifier. Refer to Radio Speaker Amplifier Replacement

Communication Interface Module Battery Procedure
- Reach behind the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module to gain access to the battery fasteners.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the battery from the transfer case shift control module bracket.
