Removal Procedure

  1. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) Remove

  2. Remove the bolt (1).

  3. Release the 5 retaining tabs (2).
  4. Remove the left and right front floor console extension panel (3).
  5. Remove the left and right instrument panel fuse block access cover frame (1).

  6. Remove the bolt (1).

  7. Remove the 4 retaining clips (2).
  8. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (3).
  9. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1)» Remove

  10. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2)» Remove
  11. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  12. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right (2)» Remove

  13. Unlock the retaining tabs. (1)
  14. Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1)» Remove [5x]

  15. Instrument Panel Compartment (2)» Remove
  16. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  17. Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) @ Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket (2)» Remove

  18. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  19. Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) @ Human Machine Interface Control Module Bracket (2)» Remove

  21. Transfer components as necessary.
