Installation Procedure

  1. If replacing the engine control module, reprogram the module. Control Module References
    2. Fig 1: Engine Control Module Bracket Retaining Tabs

  2. Install Engine Control Module (3)
  3. Install Engine Control Module Cover (2)
  4. Engage Engine Control Module Bracket Retaining Tabs (1) (Qty: 2)

  5. Install Engine Control Module And Bracket Assembly (2)
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. Connect Electrical Connector at Engine Control Module.
  8. Connect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) .
