Brake Booster Control Module Scan Tool Information

The electronic brake booster control module (EBBCM) scan tool data parameters list contains all EBBCM related parameters that are available on the scan tool. The list is arranged in alphabetical order. A given parameter may appear in any one of the data lists.

Electronic Brake Booster Control Module Scan Tool Data Parameters

Parameter System State Expected Value Description
Operating Conditions: 
Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode
Battery Voltage - Varies This parameter will display the control module voltage.
Brake Booster Pump Motor Torque - Varies This parameter displays the amount of torque currently being produced by the electric motor.
Brake Pedal Position Calculated from Input Rod Position Sensor 1 - Varies The travel of the brake booster input rod is used to calculate the travel of the brake pedal, which actuates the rod.
Brake Pedal Position Calculated from Input Rod Position Sensor 2 - Varies This displays ml/s. The scan tool displays the brake system target flow rate request.
Input Rod Position - Varies This parameter indicates the location of the push rod which is connected to the brake pedal.
Input Rod Position Sensors 1 and 2 Supply Voltage - Varies This parameter refers to the voltage used to power the internal position sensors (brake booster input rod position).
Motor Driver Temperature 1 - Varies Temperature of the electric motor.
Motor Driver Temperature 2 - Varies Temperature of the electric motor.
Output Rod Position - Varies This parameter indicates the location of the push rod which is connected to the brake master cylinder.
Target Flow Rate Request by Electronic Brake Control Module - Varies This parameter displays the brake system target flow rate
Target Pressure Request by Electronic Brake Control Module - Varies This parameter displays the brake system target pressure
